I combined a vintage color palette, retro ink brushes and texture to create a mod vibe that complements the pride, dedication, and a purposeful stare present in the illustration of Maple. I wanted to emphasize the energy of the hunt—wind in her hair, eyes on the prize. She's locked in.

Named after a dog who loves car rides and her owner who loves hunting for modern treasures, Maple Modern is an online storefront dealing primarily in art, objects, and furniture from the 1940's on.

I wanted to create a strong brand that felt playful and vintage but also allowed the unique inventory to shine.
