Envisioning the look and feel of a Michigan-based mead and cider house.

Bees equal honey, the main ingredient in mead. Since mead is the foundation of the business, it seemed only natural to lean into the significance of the bee. I created an illustration of a bee in a simplistic and minimalistic Scandinavian style to marry this honey hero with the heritage behind bløm.

I also designed a coordinating set of logo variations that adapt to different uses while maintaining visual consistency for different needs as the brand grows.

I developed a Scandinavian-style logo, logo system, and label templates for a Michigan-based mead and cider house to tie into the owners’ shared Swedish heritage and a mead recipe rooted in Norse culture.
